Session 113: “The People’s Library at the Public Museum”

During this Theory Tuesdays session, Matthias Neumann and Philip Matesic coordinated a long-distance Skype discussion between Zürich and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The occasion was the “The People’s Library at the Public Museum”, a project by Matthias Neumann, hosted by Site:Lab as part of their ArtPrize exhibition “The Not Yet”, that recently opened in Grand Rapids. The exhibition displayed the evolving library that was part of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

We discussed the poem “Taking Brooklyn Bridge” by Stuart Leonard (Occupied Media, 2011).
