Session 40: Visiting Artist Talk with Antoni Wojtyra (CA)

This session marked the one-year anniversary of Theory Tuesdays. To celebrate, Philip Matesic invited the Polish-Canadian artist Antoni Wojtyra, via Skype, for a discussion. Wojtyra was an inspiration for Theory Tuesdays with his project “Summer School 2009” which took place at Corner College. A few months later Theory Tuesdays was born.

During this one-year celebration, Wojtyra taked about his “I Got An A+ In Art” project, the “Each One, Teach One” philosophy, organizing and running “Summer School 2009” at Corner College, the importance of collaboration and about the making of art as being theoretical in itself.
